Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have 12 wonderful students who have a passion for learning and especially love it when they are able to use technology. Many of my students come from homes where they are not able to experience technology, such as computers, and are always curious and excited whenever they are able to their hands on them.

It is so special to see the way my students light up when they get a chance to hold a tablet and they become so excited to learn with these as a resource.

My Project

My students are in need of tablets in order to do centers and have experience with technology. Please consider helping these students and furthering their educations with the use of technology.

One of the resources my students would use the tablets for would be, "education galaxy".

This website allows students to learn language arts and math through the use of online assignments and educational games.

I would also love to start a research project in my class where the students search for resources online and become an expert in a certain topic which they then write about.

The possibilities are endless with technology and my class could grow so much through
