My students need a Tablet for classroom progress monitoring and maintaining stats on our athletics.

My Students

Teaching grade levels K-9th grade, the tablet would make progress monitoring so much easier than keeping track by pencil and paper in separate notebooks.

The students range in ages from 5-15.

They attend a small rural public school. The district is established in a farming community, with no industry. The students in our district have limited exposure to technology. The patrons and families in the district come from a low socioeconomic background, due to the lack of industry and a decline in small family farming.

My Project

Our students are encouraged to set a goal then strive to accomplish that goal. The tablet I am requesting would be a great source to help the students monitor their individual progress, and use this as a motivation tool to keep up their hard work. The Sit and Reach test is one example on how we would progress monitor each students performance in PE to show gains over time.

My students range from ages 5-15.

They attend a public school where increasing student achievement is a primary focus. In order to increase student achievement we must first asses what objectives they are capable of meeting and then progress monitor them on bi-weekly basis to inform instruction so they may meet all stated objectives. A Think-pad Tablet would allow me to closely monitor each students progress and instruct them accordingly.
