My students are always connected! My students are diverse but the majority love working digitally. Each student has a Chromebook. As a teacher I am currently weighed down with a desktop that can not move with me as I circulate in my classroom.
My students love to work on hands-on challenges, I love designing these challenges for them.
Technology is a huge part of their lives and I want to be better planned for reaching them in the media they are accustomed.
This tablet will help me to be able to create more design challenges.
My Project
My school has implemented new curriculum and is sending me to multiple training sessions to lean it. Having this surface tablet will allow me to digitally learn, and review the changes. I will use this tablet not only to access the curriculum but also to plan and teach! Currently I have a desktop computer that can not come to professional development sessions nor home to plan.
As a teacher I am constantly looking for new things to learn and ways to roll that out to my students.
