Our students are eager middle school students looking for excitement, they're looking for change, and they're looking for the newest technology that will keep their attention. Living on the Space Coast, the opportunities are endless. Career choices that extend from STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) concepts are the future, therefore it is imperative to develop these skills.

My Project
Today's students are ever diverse, and what a blessing that is. While many pursue to overcome the inequalities of education today, we have made significant strides in equitable measures such as inclusion and main streaming students with disabilities. We are requesting four Windows Tablets to further their educational skills in the classroom. We plan to use these tablets to educate the students how to use the technology to their advantage, and how to help others do the same. From researching projects in the comfort of the classroom, to observing educational videos, and programs, students will begin to develop communication skills and achieve independent learning gains.
Our Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities Unit has several students whom these tablets will reach.
These students have varying disabilities, but many have intellectual disabilities. These tablets will allow these students to learn the skills necessary to function in a 21st century environment. They will be given the world at their hands. What better way than to show them what they can do, where they can explore, and what they can become through the use of this technology? I can truly sense their excitement, I hope you can too!
