Tables For Tiny Classroom

Help me give my students tables to remove 28 desks , from our small classroom. These tables will more open, and unclamped space, as well as allow easier transitions, support group work and discussions.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are fun, energetic and full of wonderful surprises! They love hands-on activities and working in collaborative groups. They come to school each day ready to try new things.

It is my hope that my classroom becomes a safe haven of hope, positive energy, and growth.

Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of lack of supplies and resources. Our school is nestled in a rural community in SC.

Each child in my classroom deserves a well-equipped classroom despite the lack of funding granted to the teacher for this purpose. We strive to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Our rooms are cramped due to small sized rooms and large sized classes.

Classroom dimensions and class sizes won’t change. Therefore the only plausible change would be the needed furniture. Desks take over the class and leaves little room for exploration and small group activities.

This is why these tables would be if a huge benefit for this upcoming school year. Students would benefit more than words can convey. Please, please help us!
