My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with challenges in and outside of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I want to provide a meaningful and creative classroom learning experience.

My students walk into the classroom everyday full of excitement, joy for what is to come, and eager to see what is in store for them that day.

They are all full of life and energy and I want to be able to show them that they are capable of doing anything!

My Project

Tables allow for students to work together on classwork and collaborate during classroom discussion. During independent work time students will be able to work with their peers and ask for help among themselves. I will be able to group students more effectively based off of academics and learning styles. Tables will also allow for more opportunities for peer discussion and teamwork activities during the day.

Students are more comfortable when they are in this smaller grouping and while doing their work.

The products I have selected will help with the transition to flexible seating and collaboration. The tables are designed so no more than four students can sit at a table, which is ideal for classwork and collaboration.
