Tables for project based learning

My students need tables in 30" x 72" size which is the best size to fit 4 students per table and stay affordable.

My Students

The students in our district predominantly come from lower income families. Over 60% receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students will require materials provided by the teacher. This is something I have done out of pocket but I can't afford everything that they need.

I want to make an awesome room that will inspire my students to learn.

To do this, I would like to take advantage of some flexible seating opportunities. The first step for this would be tables. Most of our classroom instruction focuses on working together in small groups so grouped seating around tables is an ideal classroom arrangement.

My Project

I have a classroom of approximately twenty sixth graders next year. Every part of our curriculum focuses on group learning and workshops. Projects will be utilized to learn content areas such as social studies and science.

Desks are not ideal for working in groups or on projects.

A continuous surface for poster and project making will increase student engagement and productivity. Flash Furniture tables from Amazon Business can be adjusted and can even be raised to create a standing table. They are the most affordable option.

I am very excited to try these tables for my seating this coming year.
