Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a 3rd-grade teacher in a high-needs, low-income, Title I school. Our students are primarily English Language Learners. Our school is made up of 70% ELL and 100% of them receive a free lunch and breakfast.

I would like to provide my third graders with quality learning tables.

Every day my students will walk into the classroom eager to learn and ready to face any challenge that's put in front of them. It truly amazes me how determined and dedicated these young minds of theirs are. My students are such a huge blessing and they deserve the world along with quality learning tables. I want to move away from having desks and adding tables. By adding tables to our classroom, it will promote a more collaborative and engaging classroom environment. Collaborative learning is crucial as it promotes social skills development, enhances the learning experience, improves critical thinking, encourages peer learning, and fosters diverse perspectives.

Please help me make this upcoming school year a great year for them, as they most definitely deserve it. The Six-Leaf Activity Tables will help them learn the importance of collaboration skills, group discussions, and more!

I have also added Kleenex tissues during the cold seasons, students can go through so many boxes each day.
