My students are very special students! We are a Title l school located Northeast of Birmingham, Alabama. I serve 3rd grade students as their classroom teacher. We are striving to become excellent readers and writers, so as my students' teacher, I am trying to find materials that will help my students achieve this goal.
Meaningful learning is vital to student success in every way and I want to be able to provide experiences that make learning attainable for all of my students.
I try to choose activities that are interesting and relevant to students, as well being able to make personal connections for now and in the future. Many of my students have lived through many obstacles that could set them back, so I try to help empower them and have them realize how strong, intelligent, courageous, and brave they are! Learning is a ticket to growth that I can share and empower my students with and I intend to help them grow in every way possible!
Having a kidney table for small group will greatly enhance the opportunity to pull groups of students in a small group. Having this table will help allow me the space and setting to pull students and work with them on an as need basis on skills they need extra practice on or extension activities for students who are excelling. This table will be in use daily and will greatly help meet the needs of all learners that I work with. Being able to pull small groups easily can make a vast difference for all learners in the classroom and can be vital to their success!
