My Students

My rural western Kansas students are imaginative and creative. They work hard and take pride in their education. Their families work hard to provide what they need to succeed and get the most out of their time at school.

As their teacher, my goal is to help support them in reaching their dreams and goals.

I strive to provide lessons and activities that help them grow to their greatest potential.

My Project

My students are in need of a partner table that can be used for working on assignments and projects. I have an open design classroom with flexible seating and multiple student centered work areas. I would like to incorporate a table where students can meet to work on collaborative projects, such as peer editing, research on laptops, and math activities.

Having a portable partner table will allow my students to easily find a spot for their collaborative projects.

I chose the Winsome Space Saver table because it is both portable and easy to store. This is especially important in my classroom that has multiple grade levels and frequent movement. With this table, partners will have the option of moving the table to whichever spot in the room that will allow them to do their best work.
