My Students

My students are innovators, motivators, and leaders! I am proud of what my 5th grade students can handle. My class takes ownership of their learning by monitoring their progress and challenging each other to think critically.

My kids are so special because they hold themselves and each other to high expectations.

My class goes above and beyond the standards expected of them. They are coders, scientists, architects, and historians! The amount of projects I have added to their daily routine would intimidate the normal student. These students ask for more. They want to do STEAM projects! They want to learn more than what their textbooks give them.

My students will change the world. They want to learn and they want to share their knowledge. I wake up very day proud to go to work and create a positive environment for these students!

My Project

With 32 5th graders in a small room, it is hard to pull kids into a small group who either need support or enrichment. Most 5th graders do not feel comfortable on the carpet, so I need to relocate students to other desks to create a small group to help.

With a separate table I can call up groups of 4 or 5 to a specific learning area to give them support or enrichment.

This will allow for easy transitions for support. This table will also allow for less disruption when meeting with students to either give them support or challenge them.

This table is special because students can write ON it! Less materials on the table = more room for kids to explore! Please help my classroom be better for all my critical thinkers by giving them access to learn in an innovative and small group environment while being comfortable!
