My Students

I teach a very active group of third graders at a Title I school in Northern California. My students are very hard workers who try extremely hard each day to be proficient in the Common Core Standards.

I appreciate how hard they work for me each day.

I want to be able to provide for them all the resources they need to be successful each day. They need these resources to stay competitive with 21st century skills they're asked to learn.

My Project

My classroom needs a circle table to perform weekly STEM activities in class. They will be building with cubes, pattern blocks, tiles etc. This circle table will come in handy for close group interaction. It is important in third grade that students learn to work together. The circle table will provide the space needed to promote peer interaction that currently I am unable to provide with single desks. The circle table will also be useful during STEM activities such as building bridges, slides, hoppers and other group tasks and projects for our Science program. I hope you are able to help me provide this resource for my students. I know they would truly appreciate this table.
