My Project

I teach 4th-grade reading and science. I have 70 students and we absolutely love getting in groups and working in centers. Our chairs and tables are over 20 years old, and recently the legs have started to just fell off because they were worn out.

I would like to give my students a new table for centers and new chairs for comfortable seating.

My students live in a rural, economically disadvantaged area of Mississippi. Many do not have access to cultural or educational experiences, or even books at home. I try to provide a relaxing and safe environment so my students want to come to school.
