Table and Chairs Needed for My Creative ESOL Students!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students from our school are kind to each other and like to help their community as well. We are a public K-8 school with over 1,200 students located in Philadelphia.
We are a Title I school.
My students are bright and motivated and they try their best even when the going gets tough. They are also students in a district that can't always afford to provide them with basic school supplies. My students are in the ESOL program and are learning English. It is stressful to be in school when English is not your first language. My students persevere though!
My Project
My students love to learn! Each week we read different stories in our Readygen Literacy books! My students are creative and like to act out the stories as plays to show their reading comprehension in a creative way. My students will compose original plays based on the topics that we learn about in class. We need a table and chairs for my students to be able to sit in small groups and collaborate with each other to write their scripts. These chairs are perfect for this. This table is the perfect size as well! Currently we have chairs that are not sturdy and are not ideal for my 4th grade students! The table we also have is too small and badly damaged. It is not fit to enable my students creativity! My students will practice performing their plays at this table. My students will perform their plays to their whole entire class when they are finished!
