Established in 1979, our school provides educational and support services for children with hearing or vision loss in our school system. Some of the students have additional challenges that magnify the impact of the vision or hearing loss. Each of the students has special needs and requires extensive technology and assistance to succeed in a school setting.
Students attend classes at one of three locations: the elementary, middle, or high school campus.
In addition, itinerant services are provided throughout our county for students whose disability is not severe enough to require full-time placement at one of the campuses. Services are also provided in several area counties.
Sensory deprivation is a real thing and our visually and hearing impaired students are deprived of one of their senses.
This swing will help our students and allow them to focus on learning and growing as a person!
This swing will help fulfill our students sensory needs while having fun! The c-frame stand (with a 300 pound limit) will be placed outside for our students to swing on while enjoying the sunshine! The kids hammock pod chair has an inflatable cushion for comfort and a two year warranty. Our students will be able to swing all of their worries away and be ready to take on the day full-filled!
