Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing! They are diverse students who need your help. We love singing, moving, and playing to learn.
My students are third, fourth, and fifth-grade budding musicians, and they are very excited to learn.
Their backgrounds are all so different from each other. What's beautiful about them is their ability to work together, play together, and learn together.
All students deserve to learn with a rich set of materials, and you can help my students do just that.
My Project
My third, fourth, and fifth grade students are all able to join either the third grade chorus or the fourth grade chorus. We accept anyone in our chorus, and happily, we have many students who joined this year!
However, that means we need more music!
Having music greatly improves the choral experience. Students with music in their hands are able to follow along with the song, can determine the patterns that make up music, find the form, and so much more.
Chorus students deserve to have the best experience possible, and it is definitely possible with a little help from all of you.
