My Students

Teaching Kindergarten has been a dream! Imagine 18 young, smiling faces of children who are eager to see you every morning. That is my reality every day, and I am so thankful for my kids. Each student in my classroom is different. They all come from different home lives, have different skill sets, and they each have a unique personality that makes them who they are.

My students are diverse, but they share in their desire and eagerness to learn and grow.

I desire to provide them with every opportunity I can to help them achieve high-quality learning in an environment that encourages them to be who they were created to be!

My Project

Thanks to another project being funded I was able to start a snack basket in my classroom. At the end of the day the students are able to come in from recess, have a snack and get ready to leave for the day with a full stomach. Our snack basket also provides some students with breakfast in the morning if they were unable to get to school in time to eat in the morning.

By meeting my students basics needs, it I am able to help them reach and fulfill their academic needs as well.

Please help me keep my snack basket up and running throughout the year, so my students do not leave the classroom hungry!
