My students need a new sound system for our auditorium. We would love to have better audio quality for our vocal performances, spelling bees, and student dances. This includes a microphone, mixer, amplifier, and speaker.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

Our middle school is an accredited magnet middle school in St.
Louis Public Schools that serves students in St. Louis. We typically enroll 300-400 6th, 7th, and 8th graders each year.
Our mission is to inspire our students to value academic and personal growth through character education, and to empower them to become contributing members of our global society.
We have one of the most diverse group of students in the city of St. Louis. They come from many different backgrounds and experiences. They are up against a lot. They go to school in a district with less than a 50% high school graduation rate. They keep trying anyway. They want to go to college, no matter how hard it will be to get there. They are up against so much, but they don't let it stop them. They are all "good" kids. They all want to learn.
My Project
We need a new sound system for our auditorium including a microphone, mixer, amplifier, and speaker. This new sound system will reduce the cost for our student dances, make our plays, musicals, and vocal performances sound excellent.
We have an annual spelling bee that could use an upgrade.
The wireless microphone, amplifier, mixer and speaker will be an awesome addition to our auditorium.
During Physical Education classes, the instructor will be able to use the new sound system to play music for the students to run, dance, or otherwise work out aerobically.
Often times, we have assemblies where we have a guest speaker presenting. We would love for our guests to have more freedom to move around the auditorium more freely while speaking on a wireless microphone.
