My Students
Our classroom is a place for discovery and my students work actively to uncover the mysteries of our world through chemistry. Through hands-on investigations, we develop both science process skills and content knowledge.
I have the pleasure of working with some of the brightest students I have known. I teach at a suburban school populated by highly motivated college-bound students. I firmly believe that my students are the future of our world. My students work relentlessly to do the very best they can in all aspects of their education. Our school community is kind and supportive.
My Project
As part of the at-home lab kit program I've been putting together for students this year, I want to send home a fun for the whole family science activity. One of the highlights of this program has been the extra engagement students have had with their families while doing their lab work.
I'm hoping that these Sweet Science candy lab kits will be an engaging way that my students can explore more of the reaches of chemistry with their families this winter break. The kits will allow students to make rock candy and explore other candy making methods.
