My Project

My students are ages 3-5 and all are ESE. My school is a title 1 school and some of my families are unable to comfortably afford nap mats or cots themselves. With these sturdy cots I will be able to eliminate the need for the parents to have to purchase mats year after year. The plastic mats that are sold in stores tend to rip easily and this is unsafe for students; especially with some students who have oral fixations and may place ripped pieces in their mouth.

These cots will provide a safe sleeping area for all students year after year!
