This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I would like to introduce you to some wonderful students that want a strong opportunity to make a difference. What I enjoy about our students is their curiosity to learn and try new things. what makes them special is how eager they are to get started and apply the skills they learn. These vivacious youth share a desire to build important skills like teamwork and skill building. They hold me accountable and they are very engaged and involved in this learning journey.
My Project
This project will help my students see themselves as they go on this journey of self-discovery. This will allow them to capture those memories and carry them with the lessons onto the next chapter of life. The project includes journals and charms, simple tangible things they can rely on when times get tough. Using the photo printer and paper, the finished photos will keep them connected and will build confidence and the ability to reflect on positive memories. The Bible incorporates a religious foundation into their lives. The journals is to incorporate a practice that will be used to capture their raw feelings and emotions .
