Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In recent years, it has become more obvious as to the importance of reusable materials and cutting down in waste. While we think of these practices in our homes, it is important to expand those practices elsewhere.

I want to help my students practice good habits for reusable items and teach them the importance of treating the planet well.

The bowls and utinsils will be used during breakfast and snack time. The reusable paperless towels will be accessible through the day, and also used when we take our class restroom break. These small additions to our classroom will help cut down in waste, even if it’s just a little bit, and help create sustainable practices with my students.
