My Students

Remember middle school? When you first started developing real friendships? All the stress that you just didn't understand? Trying to be independent? Imagine that on top of having autism.

I teach students in grades 6-8 who have high functioning autism spectrum disorders.

All of my students go to regular classes with their peers but while other students are taking art, PE, music, or computers these students are taking my class on social skills.

My Project

All of my students want to make friends, be successful, participate in school activities, and all the desires of any middle school student. It is my job to equip them with the skills necessary for these dreams to become a reality. These books will give me new and innovative ways to reach these students and help them carry the skills into their daily routines.
