My students need a stereo player with CD and bluetooth functions so that they can listen to music and enjoy the read-along books on CDs in the classroom.
Our kindergarten class is an exciting place to be! We are ready to take on learning. Early childhood students benefit from both group and independent play. We are in desperate need of a way to enjoy music as a group and independently use the headphones we already have in our listening center.
Our school and community is rural and located near a military post.
Some of our students have experienced the deployment of parents. Some students live in homes where extended family serve as their guardians. Many students live in single-parent homes. Some students' families are involved in agriculture. We are a varied bunch! Time in the classroom provides education and enrichment experiences that these first year students are soaking up like sponges!
My Project
My students are eager and excited, but our school has limited resources. Everything that I bring into my classroom is met with genuine appreciation and excitement. We will be able to get so much enjoyment and educational value with this working stereo with CD and bluetooth functions, along with brand new read along books. We can engage in group musical activities and also use our headphones as part of a listening center, learning while enjoying our new read-along books on CDs. Using technology makes learning fun!
