Help me give my students an Amazon Fire Tablet so they can access educational apps along with other school supplies for completing packets sent by the school.
My students live in the inner city and do not have resources at home to continue learning. Some of my students are learning in their house, apartment or wherever they land for the evening since they are currently homeless. My district is mailing work packets but the students do not have tools like pencils, crayons, scissors, technology, etc. to use for their learning.
My Project
When my student receives these items she will be able to start catching up on the learning she has missed during this school closure. She will be able to use the Amazon Kindle Fire to access school learning apps. The workbook will help her practice math knowledge she will need for next school year.
The school supplies will allow her to have all the necessary tools to complete the paper packets that our district is mailing to homes.
The art related items will help her to continue to enjoy her love of EVERYTHING art related!
