My Students

We are a K-12 public charter school in Utah. We are an excelling Title I school with over 40 percent of our students on free and/or reduced lunches. As a school, we excel annually, testing as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests. We do more with less and are proud of it. My students are eager to learn, and it shows!

As a special education teacher, I have the opportunity to work with students who each have unique challenges.

We work together to ensure the success of each individual, according to his/her needs.

My Project

All of these materials will directly help my students with their social-emotional and academic learning in light of COVID-19. We have chosen items that will help with anxiety and expressing their feelings. Some items, like the leveled readers, will create opportunities to progress in their reading skills. These items will help meet the individual needs of each student in a variety of ways.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve the emotional and mental well being of these student, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and give them the opportunity to feel safe and stress free.
