Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students need a creative outlet and these supplies will help to give them that! Our students have specifically requested these supplies so that they can continue to explore their artistic abilities, while moving outside of their comfort zone and trying out materials and techniques that are new to them! We are encouraging our students to build art portfolios that can potentially follow them to college or careers. A lot of our students have shown vast interest in the arts, but do not have access to supplies. These sketch pads and writing tools will not only help them to expand on their talents, but make them feel like their skills are recognized and valued. They also need snacks to give them energy to create artwork. Your contribution is one that will fuel an artist to create masterpieces!
