The students in my 5th-grade magnet class come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. They are all are hardworking, interested in learning and enjoy school. We are a true classroom community and we work together to learn, and be the best citizens we can be.

In this classroom, we solve problems and think critically across content areas. Unfortunately, we do not have all of the resources we need at school. With your help, my students will be able to get the materials they need to reach their true potential.
My Project
We have started this new school year in a full distance learning model, with no knowledge of when we will begin transitioning back to school. My current laptop lacks the processing speed to effectively use Zoom with multiple tabs and websites open for lessons with my students. It also no longer has a functioning touch pad, and I've begun to have issues with my camera.
Please help me provide the best distance learning experience possible for my students with a reliable laptop.
This new device will allow me to effectively provide daily Zooms lessons for my students. Learning from home is so difficult, but my students love to learn and show extraordinary perseverance in a very challenging time. Thank you for supporting me and my amazing 5th graders!
