This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a new Spanish Dual Immersion school in transition. We are the first in our city to start with our 2nd year in progress. This year we welcome a new grade level and will continue to do so until the school is 100% Spanish Dual Immersion. Our program is a beautiful addition to our community. Our students are thriving and learning so much all the while immersed in diversity. Our students are our future, and they eagerly await, please help us give the gift of learning.

My Project

We are a new and growing Dual Immersion program that needs our community’s support. Our program has launched into adding second grade this year. As we know, in second grade, our students fine-tune their reading skills to extract information as we progress through academic years. Istation provides a different approach via technology that assists students to reach their reading goals. We were fortunate to have this program last year, but unfortunately, our school is unable to continue to pay. We have seen first hand how beneficial this program has been to our students last year and hope to have this option available. Please help give the gift of learning. Our students await.
