Help me give my students NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) Grade 3 Complete Collection of books to support their learning and increase their engagement in science.
My students are a diverse group of amazing individuals. They come from loving homes with involved parents. My students are a curious bunch who love learning and sharing their ideas. I am frequently in awe of how willing they are to share their learning with their peers and how effective it is when they are able to teach each other.
Many of my students speak English as a second language.
Some are even fortunate enough to be able to read and write in their primary language!
These children constantly surprise me with their compassion and kindness for each other! These kids are growing up to be our future leaders. Learning to be creative and think critically will help them be the best leaders they can be!
My Project
These science and financial literacy books will help support my students in learning the Next Generation Science Standards for third grade and introduce them to economics and financial literacy. The standards have recently changed along with the content that needs to be taught to third graders. With new science content comes the need for new science books!
My students love to be able to pick up a book about what we are learning about and read on their own to enhance their learning experience.
They also love when I have content-specific books to read aloud to them to engage them in our lessons and activities. These books will support my students in science, financial literacy, economics, and help them become better readers too!
