My Students

I have the privilege of working with a group of incredible kindergarten students. I feel honored that I get to be their first experience with school and it is my goal to create a classroom that fosters a love of learning.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds.

Some of my students are English Language Learners; others are from military families. I have students in foster care and others that come from single-parent homes. I work hard to build a positive classroom environment which fosters a love of learning, no matter what background the child is coming from. This project will support that learning environment.

My Project

This project will provide my students with wobble sit spots to support their learning. Flexible seating is such an important component in the classroom. With flexible seating students can decide which seating opportunity best supports their learning at that moment in time.

This project will provide my students with some fun new tools to support their learning.

Our classroom needs letter stamps so students can extend their learning of letters and sounds in various activities. The final thing this project will provide is a new set for our classroom kitchen (one of the favorite social play center activities). This set will allow students to extend their social interactions with others.
