My students need flexible seating options (Flex space floor chairs, wobble chairs, and bouncy ball chairs) to support their instructional and social-emotional learning.
Our students range in age from 3 to 5. We are a high potential school and our population is 94% African American. Many of our students have experienced trauma in their short lives and have many challenges making it to school. Our program serves students that are eligible for free and reduced lunch. We serve a diverse range of learning abilities and learning styles.

My Project
Sensory tools support various sensory needs of the children in the classroom in a natural way. They support participation, engagement, and interactions that promote development and learning.
We have a wide range of learning styles, many active kinesthetic learners as well as children with disabilities.
Our students range in age from 3 to 5 and have many different social-emotional needs. We want to support our active students by providing flexible seating in the form of flex space floor chairs, wobble chairs, and bouncy ball chairs, so that they can concentrate on learning as opposed to sitting still. We want our children to be confident and joyful learners in an inclusive classroom that supports their sensory-motor needs.
