My Students

This year I teach the most amazing third, fifth, and sixth-grade students in a resource classroom. My students are focusing on meeting their individual goals in reading, math, and writing. Instruction is based on the specific needs and interests of each student.

My students thrive when they are successful and feel important.

Our classroom revolves around building relationships and advocating for ourselves and others in order to meet our goals. All forms of progress are celebrated in the classroom setting and shared with parents.

My Project

Organized, clean, and calm! The use of organizational tools and cleaning supplies will allow my students to enter a calm and routine environment. Students will be able to have their own personal organization system and supplies which will increase focus during class instruction and independent work.

Inclusion, incentives, and fidgets are key.

Allowing my students to earn individual and class rewards will help acknowledge positive behavior and progress towards individual and class goals. Through the use of praise and incentives, my students will look forward to learning even when learning get's tough!
