My students are my ROCKSTARS!! This has been quite a challenging school year, already and it’s only November!! My 19 second graders are amazing!! They log on each morning with a smile, ready to learn! Virtual learning might not be ideal, but my boys and girls sure make it easy to push through each difficult day!! Thank you boys and girls!! I’m so proud of you!
My Project
Teaching today is hard, but I believe the love for my students continues to push my love for teaching every single day. Over the last 8 months, I have been trying to transfer my tiny basement into a classroom, one that works for me everyday, but also helps me teach the best 19 second graders one could ask for. These boys and girls deserve my best, and having a realistic classroom area at home will help with the delivery of instruction.
I chose ink because I'm constantly printing things to use for my virtual and hybrid students.
I love supporting other educators, so the TPT gift cards will come in handy when trying to plan well-developed lessons to meet the needs of all my students. Lastly, I am hopeful that I can share updated reading texts with my early readers. These subscriptions will help my students make connections in and out of the classroom.
I am hopeful that these new supplies and digital virtual learning resources will create a much more "normal" environment for everyone--we know that nothing is more normal than being back in the classroom, but having my woman-made classroom at home is a start.
