My Students

Kindergarten is an essential stage in a child's learning journey. Studies suggest that when offered a variety of learning experiences, young students will have the tools to build a successful mindset toward learning.

My students are naturally inquisitive and will thrive when given the opportunity to explore in hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.

These social interactions are so important for students at this age. The experiences they have in kindergarten will set them up for further learning both in school and in life.

My Project

Our classroom will begin a new learning program targeted to the unique needs of kindergarten-aged children. The K for ME program is more play-based and child centered than current practices. To better prepare for this change, we are searching for specific materials to help make this program function more successfully.

By providing these materials to my students, they will be able to engage in developmentally necessary activities within the classroom.

This includes constructed dramatic play, art projects, and sensory explorations. These opportunities will allow students to build essential social and emotional skills to help promote an excitement for lifelong learning.
