Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My third, fourth and fifth grade students are funny, bright and hard workers! My students excel with hands on projects that are interactive and get them up and moving! They have a lot of energy and move at a fast pace! That is why I am asking for donations to provide the best materials to help them become super star learners!
I'm looking for materials to help them be successful in my room and I am hoping you can help!
My Project
My students will be using the interactive notebooks to practice skills learned in 3rd through 5th grade using a hands on approach. The interactive notebooks allow students to review material taught throughout the school year in one organized book. Many of my students require repetition to master a specific skill therefore these books will be perfect for them!
The math games will be used to reinforce lessons on place value, decimals, multiplication and division.
Students will be more engaged in their learning through play. If you don't believe me, just read what my students have said about the materials we are requesting!
Student 1: "Games allow me to learn without having to complete worksheets."
Student 2: "Worksheets are boring. I want to play math games to learn my times tables!"
