My Students

The students in our room are a very special group. They have built a community where learning occurs for all, in a safe and respectful manner. They use their skills to grow their brains on a daily basis and are passionate about everything they do.

Kindness, compassion, and greatness flow through all students in our classroom.

They have worked since day one to make this classroom their own space. In my opinion, they have already succeeded at this and only continue to get better each day. It is due to their ownership over their own learning that we have wonderful days together.

Any kind of help that you are willing to offer would be put to the best use possible. In our room, we strive to leave the school year knowing at least one thing and that is how to be KIND. With your generosity, I can share with the students how kindness spreads from anywhere! Thank you!

My Project

I have given my students an hour each week to work on a project that they are passionate about. This has been one of the best things to hit my classroom in a long time. I have all of my students engaged in their own topic and they are learning skills they would not otherwise learn. I have students creating apps for kindergartners, running a clothing drive for the homeless, designing shoes, and more! They are all doing the tasks needed to run these projects and I am just facilitating.

The items that you are looking at here would allow my students to share all of their passion project work with peers and families!

By having the Tri-fold boards and sticker letters, they will be able to show all of their research and final products in a professional manner. The paint would allow any of my students to choose if they would like to make the background of the board fit their assignment and personality better! All that colorful paper is going to make their information pop off the board at anyone who is able to come and see these wonderful creations. This would be a highlight to all of their hard work and such a great way for us to share with other classrooms, the success of allowing students follow their passions.

The materials would also allow us one more time this year to follow another passion project. I appreciate your consideration in choosing to help us with this project!
