I teacher a Title I school in Hoffman Estates, IL. I would like to fund a project that will allow me to purchase instruments, materials, and music for the music program that is progressing each year. I have worked tirelessly to build a strong culture for learning in the music room that students are falling in love with. However, we do not have the materials to support the number of students who are falling in love with music. With the funds from this project I would like to specifically purchase performance materials, music, manipulative such as bean bags, sit spots, and instruments for the department. Our students would benefit from these materials as we continue to build a classroom environment that is nurturing and rigorous.
My Project
The Soundlink Revolve Portable Wireless Bluetooth speaker will allow our students to actively listen to high quality music listening activities through high tech playing abilities. I will be able to use my phone to play a large number of music examples for my students to listen and respond to.
The VENUE Tri-LED Color Strip will allow us to build on our performance quality at our low income school.
Our students have found a love for performing and this equipment would let us put on high quality performing experiences for our students.
These Bright Color Ribbon Wands will allow my students with sensory deficits to perform with a manipulative that actively engages them in music and movement learning. These manipulatives will be an asset to my students learning capacity during music class.
