Help me give my students these supplies for our after school Soccer Club. The soccer goals and soccer balls will help us run two games on our large field so that more students can participate this year.
Our students at SGES are considered Title I students, which means they are from lower income communities. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) school, we continually seek opportunities to connect our children to the global community and extend their knowledge about the world.
Our staff help provide opportunities for our students to take part in extracurricular activities such as cultural and arts events, a spring club soccer league, and Chess Club.
These opportunities have lead to our students being featured in various news papers and celebrated for the knowledge they are gaining through new experiences. Please help me continue these endeavors!
My Project
Each spring, our elementary school runs an after school Soccer Club voluntarily sponsored by our teachers and staff. Students in 3rd through 5th grades are invited to participate and develop our students' social skills along with their soccer skills. Teacher and staff from our school help each team progress in both of these skills.
Our school has grown from 380 students to over 740 students in the past 6 years and we want to be able to accommodate the growing interest for soccer participation this year and we need your help!
We need 4 soccer goals and two soccer balls to be able to run simultaneous practices or games in the limited after school time. Please help us make a difference for our children!
