Help me give my students iPad stands and stylus so they are able to use their iPad in a whole new way. It can extend possibilities, overcome limitations, and ignite their imagination.
I teach kindergarten in a small school in Iowa. Our elementary school is PK-5. We have a great school system with dedicated teachers that are excited to see their kids thrive and succeed.
My kindergarten students are very active and excited about learning.
I love to see their enthusiasm when they learn something new. It is that enthusiasm that keeps me looking for ways to engage and challenge them in my classroom.
However, this project is different than anyone I have ever written. The things I am requesting are items which my students need in order to function better in a world with Covid-19 amongst us.
My Project
iPad stands and the stylus pens are tools that can help a student learn successfully inside and outside of the classroom. The ways these tools can aide students' success is endless. I am excited to help my students achieve this. These tools will aid them on their path to becoming proficient using technology. It is difficult to get the students to place their tablets in the correct place for optimal learning, I am hoping the iPad stands decrease any distractions and poor viewing angles to improve their learning and focus. Personal headphones for each one of my students will help them stay connected and focused. Stylus pens of their own will connect the iPad to paper and help them practice writing when using the iPad.
