Support Military Students with a Place for Everyone Classroom Carpet
Help me give my students A Place For Everyone Classroom Carpet to give each child their very own space to sit and play! Plus, the color-coded rows make it incredibly easy to divide the class into small groups.
I have the great honor of teaching at an elementary school, located on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. Our students come to us with a beautiful global perspective, but the frequent changes in duty stations and deployments can cause much uncertainty in their young lives. Students thrive in an environment with structure and routines, and this is especially true for our students who have much change in their personal lives.
Our military families are sincerely appreciative of the consistency we provide for their students, and we take great care in our instructional planning and classroom environment.
My classroom is well organized with a small group, individual, and whole group instruction. Carpet time is instrumental in modeling skills for my students and providing them with the opportunity to practice that new skill with a partner. Having a rainbow rug will help with the structure of carpet time, and aide with proactive classroom management. These bright and inviting carpets feature big, bold, extra-roomy squares that give each child their very own space to sit and play! Plus, the color-coded rows make it incredibly easy to divide the class into small groups.
My Project
Students at my elementary school, located on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base, are incredibly diverse in their strengths and life experiences. They bring with them great global perspective, in conjunction with struggles from frequent deployments and changes in duty stations.
Military students are both extremely resilient and beautifully fragile, and they require additional supports and structure in the classroom.
