My students are dynamic. They are bright, busy and watching them learn brings me so much joy. In our classroom and beyond, a love of learning is deeply rooted within my 20 students. This group is creative, collaborative and committed to being the strongest learners they can be.
As the teacher of these 20 little learners who crave experiences that engage each of their senses, I look forward to being able to provide opportunities for the use of learning tools that allow for the practice of early literacy skills necessary for reading development.
My Project
During our daily reading workshop, students cycle through a series of literacy centers. At these centers, each student works on skills that he or she needs to nurture to continue to grow as a reader. The requested items will support students in practicing these skills.
Allowing students a voice and choice in how they learn is a goal of mine as an educator; when students interact with their learning in different ways, learning feels fresh and fun and levels of engagement remain high.
Your donation to this classroom project will help add high-quality learning tools for student use during literacy centers to support multi-sensory practice of kindergarten phonics and reading skills. Letter stamps, puzzles and word building rods will excite students and further ignite their love of learning!
