Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This campaign is for my CTSO- Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). The pandemic has really brought an unprecedented time that has challenged all of us to think outside the regular norm of doing things. If we were in person, our FBLA group would typically fundraise by hosting an in-person event or selling Spirit Gear. Well, many other clubs have already hit the Spirit gear market and so our FBLA group has an artistic flair and would like to fundraise by tapping into the sticker phase. Many of our students have creative ideas, pair that with curriculum of learning a variety of software for business use, a Cricut would be a wonderful addition to our classroom. Utilizing a Cricut and creating stickers for sale will provide the perfect real-world scenario on running an online business, logistics, and customer service. FBLA students would learn a plethora of skills.
My Project
These materials I am requesting will be used to help FBLA, Marketing and Business students use their creativity and tap into the Sticker Market as a means to create an online business to fundraise for the program and exercise their business skills.
A Cricut Studio would allow my students to feel pride of ownership and accomplishment within our CTE Business and Marketing program.
Students will be able to create something that represents them and their school pride while learning the essence of customer service, logistics, marketing and so much more. This is a business that can be sustained even after my tenure at this school and before a legacy for the school and district.
