Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to me full of ideas and excited to learn new things. My students do not often come with the basics being met, like food and school supplies. My school provides 100% of the students with free breakfast and lunch; we must first feed the body before the mind.
I work hard to provide my students with the basics they need to be successful inside and outside of academic settings.
I teach my students to think about the big picture before acting and how to hold themselves responsible for the choices they make. I want my students to develop habits that they can use their whole life through.
My Project
My students need the basic classroom supplies to help them learn. My students learn best when they get a chance to do hands-on work. The copy paper will allow me to print exactly what my students need so they can work on the skills they do not yet have. My students learn best when they are able to write and color code their learning. The white board markers will allow me to check my student's understanding of the material without having to use paper and pencil. The cleaning wipes will help to keep my students germs free, from their desks to their supplies.
