Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students from Houston are highly creative, curious and enthusiastic about learning! They enjoy activities that extend their thinking, hands-on projects, and active exploration of new ideas! These kiddos come to school each day ready to take on new challenges in order to grow as individuals and soak up new information!
These kids absolutely love to read, but at times may not have books or other resources available at home to continue building upon their reading skills.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves to learn and I consider myself very lucky to be able to work with such an amazing group of students!
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help ensure that each and every student is prepared for maximal learning! Many of my students are not able to go out and buy these needed supplies due to circumstances at home. The paper, notebooks, glue, markers, and other various supplies will be used by my students to complete various activities throughout the year! The chart paper is essential for creating anchor charts to give my LEP students better visuals and breakdowns of information.
By donating to our project, you are enabling my students to be fully prepared for all activities and further learning!
