I am so fortunate to have the privilege of spending my days with a class of vivacious kindergarten students on a year-long journey full of fun, learning and lots of growth!
My Kindergartners are dynamic; their zest for learning and life motivates me to provide the most engaging educational experiences possible for them during each and every school day!
These bright and busy boys and girls each come to our classroom with different backgrounds and will access a multitude of tools daily to support them in being the strongest and most successful learners they can be!
My Project
To support successful and highly engaging learning activities, I have requested a variety of important supplies and tools to be used daily by my students. Throughout our days together, students and I work collaboratively to nurture crucial academic skills in multiple ways while visiting learning centers during which time many of the request supplies and tools are used or accessed.
Each requested item was thoughtfully selected and can be used across subject areas to support a number of fun and hands-on learning activities.
For example, my kindergartners love to publish their writing pieces during Writer's Workshop using special Paper Mate pens. The requested mini golf pencils also help with fine motor development necessary for neat handwriting! During Math Workshop and math centers, students and I often use whiteboards to warm up our brains so having a supply of erasers to go with our markers is imperative. I have also requested operation dice to support us in our learning of addition and subtraction strategies.
Other requested items include dry erase pouches, which are used daily for morning work activities, large plastic bags to support organization of materials, and laminating pouches to help preserve our proudest artifacts of learning!
With your help, I can ensure that my students will be fully stocked with developmentally appropriate, high-quality and fun tools to support a successful year in kindergarten!
