Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from low income homes and they each have a unique set of circumstances that have brought them to my classroom. They all struggle both academically and behaviorally.

These hands on manipulatives will bring education to them in a completely new way.

A hands on approach to learning will immerse them in their education and allow for them to connect with learning on a new level. The geometric blocks will allow visual learners to see and feel the shapes that they struggle to picture in their minds, the books will open doors to new worlds and allow them to escape their every day life and the science supplies will allow for them to create real world situations and analyze their results.
