Mrs. First from Fayetteville NC is requesting classroom basics through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students not only supplies to create projects that showcase their creativity, but also storage containers to store their supplies.

My students are creative, respectful, attentive, and full of questions! They love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions and showcase their creativity! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take risks in order to grow both personally and academically.
Many students in my classroom have difficulty completing projects and assignments at home and in the classroom due to lack of supplies and resources.
Our school in located in an urban district that has suffered numerous cuts in funding over the past years.
At our Title I school, 100% of our student population is a recipient of free school lunch. We also proudly teach children who have military parents stationed at Fort Bragg. Our entire school population is eager to learn and in need of supplies and materials to expose them to opportunities they do not have. Your donation will truly make a difference and my students will be able to reveal their originality.
Basic supplies allow my students to take charge of their learning, showcase their creativity, and make choices that best suit their learning styles. My students are very curious and innovative learners and my lessons target project base learning. My students need to research many topics and skills and develop presentations that showcases their knowledge and skills.
These supplies would allow my students to be engaged in challenging lessons that promote hands on and authentic real world learning.
Our school is always in need of basic supplies. Many of our students come from disadvantage homes where common necessities are limited. My classroom and our school is an environment where students are cared for through love and encouragement.
Items, such as markers, colored pencils, and a pencil sharpener will not only provide normalcy to my students lives, but also promote their learning. These supplies are vital in promoting project based learning in my classroom. Having enough supplies will allow students to design projects that target their learning styles, further their understanding of real world problems, and encourage excitement. The plastic containers will also provide a place where students can store these materials. These materials are used everyday and having a place where they are easily stored will save on vital learning time and confusion.
