Students at my school are creative, inquisitive and engaged learners. They love school as it is their safe and dependable space. They come to school with only their smiles and worn out shoes.
To provide my students with supplies, is to provide a little bit of Christmas in their desks!
My Project
All of our students want to have equal opportunities in the classroom with their supplies and seating needs. Being able to provide supplies that the students at my school are not able to purchase, creates an equitable classroom.
The focus will be on learning, not on what one has or does not have.
Students come into my classroom with many needs and issues from their home life to their academic abilities.
By providing the simple necessities of school for them, which most of my students cannot purchase on their own, they are able to learn and grow as students in an environment that is safe and nurturing.
