I am a teacher in a high poverty school. Many of my students are being raised by single parents or struggling families. The students I teach are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Not only are my students faced with poverty, but they also have special needs. I am looking to provide them with creative, yet meaningful experiences.
My students are energetic, creative, and spontaneous.
They deserve to receive love and lots of positive attention. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their abilities and potential. I want them to experience life and have some of the opportunities they may not be afforded in their everyday lives. I want to do this in a creative and positive way. My focus is to inspire learners of all abilities to believe they can achieve what they dream.
My Project
We have been able to purchase some great center ideas; however, they need to be printed, laminated, and put together in order for my students to use them. My students need hands-on experiences and these supplies will allow them to interact with all of the pieces without damaging them printing the centers in color will help them become more involved due to the exciting colors.
We are so excited to get started on creating these amazing centers.
Having the opportunity to create exciting projects and centers for the kids to interact with during class time is a worthy project. We would appreciate any help to make these centers available this year.
